芹沢 SERIZAWA Developer’s Log 9: Big Chungus Whale Godzilla

Godzilla’s origin story has been retold several times over the years, with the most recent version appearing in Godzilla Minus One. While I didn’t mind the dinosaur-inspired design they chose, I’ve always preferred the idea of Godzilla having an aquatic origin. I’m not the first to think this way, my idea is actually inspired by a concept drawing of Godzilla as a massive whale-like creature. I thought it would be fun to try drawing a "whale Godzilla" for my Serizawa game.
